Writing Competition Announcement: International Women’s Day Commemoration

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, the IPAS Indonesia Foundation held a writing competition with the theme Reproductive Justice for All: Advocating for Comprehensive Health Rights for Survivors of Sexual Violence.

We have received 137 submissions, each presenting outstanding ideas accompanied by in-depth analysis on the importance of health rights for survivors of sexual violence.

We have evaluated the submissions by involving experts in gender-related writing.

After the judging phase, we are proud to announce the winners of this writing competition:

1st Place:
Name: Kristian Yudhianto

2nd Place:
Name: Marindah Putri Kurniasih

3rd Place:

Title: Abortion, Patriarchy, and Women’s Choices in Reproductive Justice

Congratulations to the winners! Each winner will receive the following prizes as a token of our appreciation:

1st Place: IDR 1,000,000 (tax deducted) and IPAS Indonesia Foundation merchandise
2nd Place: IDR 750,000 (tax deducted) and IPAS Indonesia Foundation merchandise
3rd Place: IDR 500,000 (tax deducted) and IPAS Indonesia Foundation merchandise
