This ensures they can access high-quality, needs-based services that are free from stigma. <\/p>\n
Since its establishment in 2018, the IPAS Indonesia Foundation has continued to promote greater access to post-abortion care (APK), contraception, and health services for survivors of violence against women and children (KtPA) through collaboration with the government and health facilities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen primary care becomes more inclusive, responsive, safe, and women-centered, we not only strengthen the health system, but also reinforce the dignity, safety, and future of Indonesian women and adolescent girls,\u201d said Dr. Marcia.<\/p>\n
Dr. Imran Pambudi, MPHM, Director of Health Services for Vulnerable Groups at the Ministry of Health, said that this meeting was very beneficial because it brought together participants from the central, provincial, and district\/city levels. According to him, this forum serves as a platform for the exchange of information between policymakers at the central level and service providers in the regions. <\/p>\n
\u201cAt the local implementation level, regions can learn from one another about which approaches work well, and other regions can learn from that,\u201d he emphasized. The main sessions of this meeting consisted of discussions held both in plenary sessions and in small groups, based on specific themes. For example, there was a special session on strengthening post-miscarriage care services, as well as a session on sharing best practices regarding adolescent reproductive health services. <\/p>\n
One of the participants from the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Health Office, Emilia H. Hamid, A.Md.Keb, said that she learned a great deal, particularly regarding reproductive health services for adolescents.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m interested in learning about adolescent reproductive health because this issue still needs to be addressed more effectively in our area. During the discussions and presentations, we saw many best practices from other regions regarding adolescent reproductive health and the response to violence against children and adolescents. This has been very valuable input for us,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Strengthening the reproductive health system is a key element in enabling women and adolescent girls to make decisions about their own bodies. This ensures they can access high-quality, needs-based services that are free from stigma. Since its establishment in 2018, the IPAS Indonesia Foundation has continued to promote greater access to post-abortion care (APK), contraception, and health services for survivors of violence against women and children (KtPA) through collaboration with the government and health facilities.
