This meeting aimed to strengthen government support for the implementation of the ARUNIKA project (Empowered Women Towards an Indonesia Free from Violence). <\/p>\n<p>The ARUNIKA project was launched in November 2024 with the aim of supporting health services for victims of violence, in accordance with the mandate of Law No. 12 of 2022 concerning Sexual Violence Crimes. ARUNIKA is being implemented in Semarang Regency, Sukoharjo Regency, and Surakarta City. <\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the Central Java Governor expressed full support and requested that the health service model for victims of violence be expanded to all regencies\/cities in Central Java. &#8220;This model must be replicated. It should not stop at just three regions,&#8221; Ahmad Luthfi emphasized. <\/p>\n<p>Government support is one of the important elements for the project&#8217;s continuity and sustainability.
