Since 2018, the IPAS Indonesia Foundation has continuously partnered with various parties to achieve this. One of its efforts is through the ARUNIKA project (Empowered Women for a Violence-Free Indonesia), which was launched in Semarang in November 2024.  <\/p>\n<p>In April 2025, the IPAS Indonesia Foundation, through the ARUNIKA project, invited various stakeholders such as the police, health agencies, community health centers, legal aid institutions, and the Department of Women&#8217;s Empowerment and Child Protection. The purpose of this meeting was to promote integrated services for survivors of violence. <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Marcia Soumokil, MPH, Executive Director of the IPAS Indonesia Foundation, stated that the experience of survivors of violence when first accessing healthcare services is crucial as it will influence subsequent processes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy is it important to ensure timely services for survivors? Because it is crucial for medical interventions, such as for sexually transmitted infections, especially HIV prevention. Therefore, it is very important for survivors,\u201d she emphasized.[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/ipasindonesiad.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/DSC02044-scaled-1.jpg&#8221; title_text=&#8221;DSC02044&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Yuni Rahayuningtyas, S.KM., M.Kes., Head of the Public Health Division at the Central Java Provincial Health Office, added that healthcare facilities serve as one of the entry points for victims of violence. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Community health centers (Puskesmas) are expected to have the competence to provide services for victims of violence against women and children (KtPA). Hopefully, we will have more hospitals and community health centers (Puskesmas) equipped for addressing violence against women and children.
