The first is the CERAH (Climate Emergency, Reproductive Rights and Health) project in Palu, Central Sulawesi. The second is ARUNIKA (Empowered Women for an Indonesia Free from Violence) in Semarang, Central Java.  <\/p>\n<p>These two projects share a common focus: to expand access to healthcare. However, ARUNIKA specifically focuses on services for victims of Gender-Based and Sexual Violence (GBSV). Meanwhile, CERAH aims to ensure resilient basic health services in both disaster and normal conditions.  <\/p>\n<p>To strengthen the implementation of these two projects, the IPAS Indonesia Foundation invited four partners to Jakarta. The two ARUNIKA partners are LBH APIK Semarang and SPEK-HAM Surakarta. Additionally, the KPKPST Foundation and the Merah Putih Foundation are partners for the CERAH project.  <\/p>\n<p>This meeting, held on February 4, 2025, primarily discussed the projects and coordination schemes, including activity planning and monitoring. Additionally, there was a session on administration, reporting, and communication. The objective was to ensure smoother collaboration between the partners and the IPAS Indonesia Foundation from the initial stages until project completion.  <\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, there was a special session on climate change and its impact on health and women&#8217;s issues, presented by Greenpeace Indonesia, Khalisa Halid Aid. This session was highly relevant to the CERAH project. <\/p>\n<p>Rahayu Purwaningsih, Director of SPEK-HAM Surakarta, stated that this meeting provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen program-related capacities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This partner meeting serves as a platform for partners to build new networks, and also a good opportunity for program consolidation, including aligning perceptions on program implementation and other technical matters such as reporting and more,&#8221; said Rahayu.<\/p>\n<p>Nur Kasanah from LBH APIK Semarang added that this meeting can enhance the capacity of the LBH APIK Semarang team as implementers of the ARUNIKA program. &#8220;Such as better understanding program implementation plans, activity reports, financial reports, and so forth,&#8221; she emphasized. <\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In November 2024, the IPAS Indonesia Foundation launched two projects in two provinces.
